You have soft angora or cashmere garments or shawls that you love. They will last longer if you handwash rather than dry clean them. To do, dilute baby shampoo with an added squirt of hair conditioner (to keep the fibers soft) and a few drops of lavender oil (to keep the moths from eating their favorite meal: cashmere). Rinse and gently squeeze the water out letting air-dry flat.
