If a sweating glass or moisture from a hot cup of tea left a white ring or mark on your wood coffee table you can restore it by adding enough olive oil to 1/4 cup of baking soda to make a paste. Gently buff this mixture into the white marks. Wipe away the paste and rub in some olive oil. The baking soda’s absorbency will draw out the moisture beneath the wood’s finish that is causing the marks. The oil will restore the luster of the wood.
