Line your refrigerator’s crisper drawer with paper towels and wrap your greens loosely in paper towels before storing. They’ll stay fresher and crisper for much longer, a week longer, by absorbing excess moisture. Check often to remove any slimy leaves; this will help keep the rest of the greens to last longer. If your celery or scallions are limp place them, standing up, in a tall glass filled with cold water, looking like a flower bouquet, to revive them.
