When it comes time to take down the holiday lights do you have a tangled mess? Well, no longer, thanks to this tip from First Magazine: punch in the grip-tab slit on the side of an empty aluminum foil carton (plastic wrap, waxed paper etc will work too). Pull the plug out through the hole from the INSIDE of the box and then loop the string of lights until the entire length is neatly stacked inside. Close the box and secure with tape. The container will keep everything in place and tangle-free!
