Tip of the Day: Be Alert to Tricky Sale Prices

It has become an advertising practice to put a “sale” price in a circular that really isn’t. What I mean is the price you see in bold letters is the price you WOULD pay after using a coupon or getting a rebate. If you are like me, when I see that BOLD price I am calculating how much it will cost WHEN I add my coupon and then a possible rebate. But it is not. So be VERY careful and really READ the “sale price”. If it is what it says BEFORE a coupon or rebate then you have a REAL DEAL!
