If you are lucky enough to get a gift of flowers or if you buy them or pick them yourself, here are a few ways to make your bouquet last longer: never place flowers near a fruit bowl because the gases in the fruit will speed the aging of your flowers, if you are making your own bouquet, cut the garden flowers in the morning or early evening before the dew has dried, always use a sharp scissors, cut stems to a slant, and change the water every few days.
