You can save money and energy by loading your clothes dryer properly. Too few clothes or too many make drying more expensive. Dry heavy weight clothing separate from light weight clothing for more efficiency. ALWAYS clean the lint filter after EACH load for fire safety and energy-efficient drying.
To save even more money and enery get yourself a clothes drying rack. I stopped using my dryer two years ago. It took a little while to find new habits. Now I would never go back to a money wasting machine.
