Tip of the Day: Safe Medicine Disposal

Expired medicines (pills) should be mixed with either coffee grounds, cat litter, or saw dust and put in a sealed plastic bag and thrown out in the garbage. DO NOT flush down the toilet! That will harm waterways and ecosystems. The only EXCEPTION would be highly addictive drugs (get a COMPLETE LIST ); these SHOULD be flushed! Please keep the world safe!
