Most stores I talked with confirmed, that as a courtesy, they will honor your coupon that you left at home or forgot to use at checkout, if you return to the store with your cash register receipt showing the item within one week’s time. Shop Rite and Pathmark both said it must be within one week of the purchase date. You might want to check with your store for it’s policy.
