If you are like me, you get many printed name and address labels from various charities. We cannot donate to everyone even though we may like to. The rule has been, if you receive something in the mail that you didn’t ask for it is considered a gift. I use these surplus labels for my mailings and it saves time and puts this “gift” to good use. They are also useful in filling out forms where there is never enough space to print your information.
