If a day of gardening or when the kids play outdoors in grassy parks, our clothing shows the results of grass stains! Rid these easily by placing 1/2 cup of sugar in a bowl. Add just enough water to make a paste. Apply this to any stains and let sit for about half an hour. Then launder as usual. The enzymes in the sugar will break down the chlorophyll pigment in the grass so the stain comes off easily in the wash.
