Candles add ambiance to every setting. The type that are very popular, the ones in jars, can last longer if, the first time you light it, you burn the candle for one hour per diameter inch of the candle (example: a 3″ candle should burn for 3 hours). This will ensure your candles last longer because tunneling won’t occur. This is when the wax melts on the first burn leaving wax on the sides thus making it hard to light the wick.
