If your delicate lace tablecloth has a tear or a rip you can remedy this by placing a piece of wax paper behind the hole and brushing clear nail polish over the area. Wait until this is completely dry before removing the paper. The polymer seal creates a flexible bond of the fibers that will prevent further ripping. For extra protection. apply a second coat when the first one is dry. The fix dries clear and preserves your precious heirloom.
