If your freezer isn’t keeping your food cold enough, before you call a repairman, test it. How? Close the freezer door over a half dollar bill while you hold one end outside the freezer. Now pull the dollar out slowly. If it slides out without any resistance the freezer’s seal has a gap in it and should be repaired This is as easy as installing a new door seal that can be bought at any home store or of course, on Amazon! This will work on the refrigerator too.
