If you notice your printed pages are faded but when you check you ink cartridge it is still heavy with ink, it may be clogged. To fix this, remove the ink cartridge and aim a hair dryer set on low at the nozzle for 20-30 seconds. Let the cartridge cool off before reinstalling. Run a test page. The heat should have loosened the ink enough to flow again. If you like, you can run a test page on your printer weekly to prevent any drying in the future.
