Through the years I’ve offered some natural mosquito repellents. Here’s another: lavender! Mosquitoes hate this scent! Fill a spray bottle (buy at the Dollar Store) with witch hazel or distilled water then add 10-20 drops of lavender essential oil. Spray your clothing, the areas outside where you will be, and even your outdoor furniture to keep the mosquitoes from crashing your party! Mosquitoes also hate the smell of peppermint so you can substitute peppermint essential oil for the lavender.
