If you just snagged a great deal on a swimsuit you’re lucky because there are lots of warm days still coming! To keep your new bathing attire from fading, whether in the pool or ocean as chlorine and/or salt can harm your suit in the long run, get your suit wet before taking that first dip. Wet it in the on-site showers or your own at home. This will help pre-saturate it so it won’t absorb as much of the elements in the water. When you get home, wash your suit and lay out to air dry. Your suit’s color will stay vibrant for the rest of the season.
