If your beloved tabby jumps on your kitchen counters and that doesn’t please you, you can prevent the future leaps by placing a few strips of double-sided tape on the counter’s surface. Cats don’t like the sticky feeling on their paws so they’ll jump right off. Orange peels can work too, as cats don’t like the citrus scent. And yet another remedy: place a sheet of aluminum foil on your counter top. Cats don’t like the texture nor the sound it makes.
