It seems these days everyone is making smoothies and shakes. A down-side to this healthy lifestyle is cleaning the blender. Aside from going  outside your house to enjoy your beverage, here are a few things to make clean up a little easier. First, after adding your ingredients, cover the top of the pitcher with plastic wrap before closing the lid. This will prevent splatters in the crevices so a quick wash will do the trick. Then after you’ve enjoyed your drink, add some dish liquid, warm water, cover again with plastic, replace the lid, and turn the blender on low to get everything churned up so cleaning will be easier. Dump the dirty water and wash. No scrubbing needed!
