We all get those pesky splinters that can hurt as well as be annoying! The next time, you can remove it painlessly by cutting a section of a banana peel into a 1″ square. Place over your wound (white-side down) and secure with tape. The enzymes in the peel will soften your skin, allowing the splinter to move closer to the surface so it will be easy to pluck out.th tape. Leave in place for about half an hour.
