If you have the Ring or any other digital doorbell you should be aware that condensation from snow, rain, and ice can accumulate behind the lens. This leads to corroding the electronics inside and possible permanent failure. The simple solution is to spray the lens with a rain repellent at the beginning of Spring and a defrosting spray at the start of Winter. Both are products made for car windshields. This will prevent any buildup and keep the lens clean and clear.
