There’s nothing uglier than those stains left by tomato sauce on plastic containers. If possible, BEFORE filling the plastic with your tomato leftovers, spray the container with non-stick cooking spray! This creates a barrier to prevent the food from penetrating. If you’re too late and the stains are already present, wash and scrub with dish soap (Dawn works very well!). Next, let air dry. Then move to a sunny window. The sun will bleach out the rest of the stain! Isn’t Mother Nature wonderful!
