Many of us enjoy the convenience of pod coffee makers. However, it is sometimes hard to know how to clean the grime away. Drop a denture cleaning tablet into the reservoir, then, fill with warm water. Next run 2 brew cycles without any pods inside. The tablet’s gentle fizz loosens coffee oil, moldy (ugh!) and mineral buildup without any scrubbing. Now, run 2 more cycles with plain water in the reservoir. While the coffee maker is cleaning itself, clean the drip tray in a sink filled with hot water and another denture tablet. This will remove any gunk build up.
