If your holiday cutlery is looking a bit lack-luster, use a natural solution to bring it back to it’s original shine, a potato! Peel and cut a potato into several large pieces. Boil in a large pot for about 10 minutes, remove from the water carefully. SAVE the water! When the water has cooled, set your silverware inside the water and soak for about a half an hour. Rinse with warm water. The natural acids released from the potato will dissolve tarnish when it makes contact with your utensils.
