It’s definitely barbeque season! But who likes to clean the stuck-on grime on the grates? A real easy, cheap way to keep your grill in tip top shape is with an onion. After grilling, while the grates are still warm, carefully rub a halved onion (hold with a long fork) cut side down. The enzymes in the onion break down the layers of gunk on the grates PLUS will coat the grates with a layer of sulfuric acid to stop any bacteria growth.
