There are still plenty of days that we want to cuddle up next to a warm fireplace. If you are lucky enough to have one, but have difficulty starting the fire try this: Fill an empty glass jar with rubbing alcohol. Drop a few wine corks inside and seal. STORE AWAY from the fireplace!!! When the next fireplace moment strikes, toss a cork underneath the kindling and light as usual. The alcohol-soaked cork with catch easily and ignite the wood. You’ll be comfy sooner!
