As we have all been aware, we are getting less for the same price or more at the grocery store. Consumer Reports has done a study and the results are featured in this ABC TV newscast and related article (get the whole story in the February 2011 issue of Consumer Reports magazine). It alerts us to becoming savvy shoppers and to check the sizes and unit prices on the items we buy. Also, they stress, and I agree, that we should contact the companies to voice our opinion. In the meantime, look for sales, and use coupons. If we don’t help ourselves no one else will do that for us!
