Tip of the Day: Rid Picnic Cooler Odors with Vanilla

If you are getting ready for the 4th of July picnic and your cooler smells from the last BBQ, try this: put a few drops of vanilla extract on a paper towel and wipe your cooler top to bottom. Keep the lid off (or up) for a few hours and by then the alcohol in the vanilla will remove the old odors and replace them with a delicious scent!
