Tip of the Day: Relieve Minor Burns with Oatmeal
If you touch a hot pan handle or get a minor burn any other way you can get quick relief from the pain, first of all, by running the area under cold water. Then mix 1/2 cup of oatmeal with a 1/2 cup of water in a bowl. Let sit about 1 minute and then apply to the burned area. Leave on for about 5 minutes. The anti-inflammatory properties in the oatmeal will soothe and ease the pain in no time.
