It’s a price war and we, the consumer, will be the winners! Staples and Bed Bath & Beyond have stated they will not only match the lowest price at Amazon.com but beat it by 10%. Sears will beat competitor’s prices by 10%. Toys R Us will give you back 10% in R Us dollars. Most of these offers will be in effect from the end of October (check each store before you buy) through Christmas Eve (12-24). You must present your original cash register receipt and a dated copy of the advertised price you are comparing. I will report if more stores jump on this campaign! TIP: with these offers it is a win win situation to buy a hot item when you see it in the stores and then go back for the price adjustment, because if you wait for a sale you may be disappointed in the lack of stock available.
