Tip of the Day: Strengthen Nails After a Gel Manicure
If you get frequent gel manicures you may notice your nails are getting weak. To help this give them a quick soak in equal parts of apple cider vinegar and water for about 5 minutes. Rinse well, pat dry, and massage hand cream or cuticle oil into your nails. This will lock in moisture. Repeat once a week if possible. The apple cider vinegar is rich in potassium, magnesium, and other minerals so it will build stronger and healthier nails. If you have any cuts on your fingers, skip this treatment as the vinegar will sting.
