If that favorite leather purse of yours has seen better days, give it a boost by adding a small amount of shaving cream (NOT gel!) on a cloth and rub into the surface of the purse. (ALWAYS test in an inconspicuous place first to make sure it won’t harm the leather). Let this sit for a few minutes, then wipe off with a damp cloth. The lanolin in the shaving cream nourishes the leather keeping it looking like new.
