Tip of the Day: Keep Moths Away from Winter Woolens
As we pack away heavy winter wool coats, sweaters, and scarves, keep moths from ruining them with a simple, fresh-smelling trick. Tuck a few slivers of Irish Spring soap into pockets, and place extra pieces in small brown paper lunch bags with a few holes punched in them. Store these with your clothes to naturally repel moths—without that overpowering mothball smell. Your nose will definitely thank you for skipping mothballs.
