Tip of the Day: Shine Copper with Stale Beer

If you have copper pots and pans or other items you know it tarnishes. To rid this easily, dip a clean cloth into stale beer (save those unfinished bottles and cans for this purpose!). Polish the copper, then rinse off, and buff. The beer’s acid will have broken up the dark copper oxide that causes the tarnishing. You’ll have gleaming copper!
