If one of your remotes is working intermittently and you find yourself shaking it to make the connection so it will work, it is probably due to lack of tension in the spring that holds the battery securely. To fix this, fold a small piece of aluminum foil several times into a square then place in between the spring and the battery. This will improve the connection.
