Start saving some paper towel and toilet paper tubes. These will come in very handy as wet Winter days approach. They can cut the drying time of damp gloves, mittens, and socks greatly. Slip your accessory over the tube and stand or lay flat. The tube lets the air circulate so you can go back out in the inclement weather quickly!
