Through the years I’ve given several way to nix red wine stains. Here’s another: rub some white toothpaste (NOT gel) onto the area. Now dab with a washcloth that has been dipped in cold water. The alkaline baking soda in the toothpaste neutralizes the acidic tannins stain causers in the wine so the paste particles can gently scrub any residue off the fabric. The stain should disappear!
