If your potpourri has lost it’s scent, don’t toss yet! You can restore the aroma by spritzing with about 1/4 cup of vodka in a spray bottle (rubbing alcohol will work too!). Saturate all the pieces. The alcohol will break down the potpourri’s outer layer so as it evaporates and disappears the newly exposed layers of the potpourri will emit the aroma you used to have.
