We’ve had LOTS of rain on the East coast this Spring and Summer. That means mosquitoes are abound! You can deter them with lavender. While citronella and other methods help, mosquitoes hate the smell of lavender. Fill a spray bottle with distilled water and about 15 drops of lavender essential oil. Spray all the areas on your patio, deck, outdoor furniture, even yourself! You can even place some lavender plants in your yard for extra help!
