It’s almost time to pack up our warm weather duds like wool sweaters, blankets, and items that moths like to feed on during the warmer months. Protect you garments and your sense of smell by using soap slivers instead of strong-smelling moth balls! Either collect some slivers from your used bar soap or make your own by slicing with a peeler from a new bar. However you get the slivers, place them in a paper (with holes poked into it) or mesh bag. Staple closed and place with your stored articles. The soap will emit a strong smell that repels moths but not us so much that will keep your clothing safe until next Winter.
