Tip of the Day: Prevent Oil from Splattering
Anytime you fry food it splatters all over your stovetop. You can try covering the pan with a lid, but that results in causing some foods, like bacon, to get soggy. Another solution is covering the frying pan with an upside-down metal colander. This allows the steam to be released so there’s no more moisture sapping but it will also keep the oil from escaping!
