Tip of the Day: Freeze Casseroles in LESS Space
When freezing large items for another meal, a great practice for a quick future dinner, or even a dessert, double line the dish with foil, fill as usual, then cover tightly with foil. Freeze for 24 hours, then , remove the casserole from the pan (you’ll be able to lift it with the foil), re-wrap with foil and freeze again without the pan or dish. When ready to eat, remove the foil, place the casserole back in it’s original baking dish and heat up. This way the large dish doesn’t take up valuable freeze space.
