If you’ve discovered some old books, whether at a garage sale or in your own attic and they reek of mustiness, slip a dryer sheet between the pages near the book’s center. Close the book. Let the book sit a day or two. The dryer sheet helps absorb the moisture and will leave behind a fresh scent.
