Tip of the Day: Sticky Light Switches?
Grimy, sticky hands tend to make our light switches to stick. If this happens to yours, trace a Q-tip dipped in rubbing alcohol (use only as much as you need because alcohol is a strong solvent) around the switch, edges, and plate screws where all the finger dust and oils collect. The alcohol will dissolve these fingerprints and sticky residue. The narrow tip can reach into the crevices that you can’t with a dust rag.
