Cue the fireworks! Happy 4th of July! May the skies light up with spectacular fireworks and may the holiday bring a burst of red-hot deals, star-spangled savings, and coupons worth celebrating!

The fireworks may be over, but the savings are just getting started! Take advantage of After the Fourth of July Sales to score deep discounts on Summer essentials, patio furniture, grills, picnic baskets, beach towels, luggage, and so much more. Retailers are clearing out inventory, making this one of the best times to save before back-to-school shopping begins. Be sure to check your favorite online stores, too. You’ll enjoy a wider selection, convenient home delivery, and often online-only deals. And don’t overlook those patriotic decorations and accessories! Red, white, and blue items are perfect for enjoying all summer long right through Labor Day.

The well-known convenience chain 7-Eleven will host a FREE Slurpee Day on July 11 to celebrate their holiday! (get it 7-11)

Mid-July is a great time to save on big-ticket items! Watch for sales on major kitchen appliances, including stoves, refrigerators, and microwaves, as retailers roll out mid-month discounts. Need a new grill? If you can wait until after the Fourth of July, you’ll likely find some of the season’s best markdowns. As Summer reaches its halfway point, keep an eye out for lower prices on lawn mowers, gardening tools, and other outdoor essentials. It’s the perfect time to spruce up your yard while keeping more money in your pocket

July is one of the best months to save on home updates! New furniture collections begin arriving in August, so furniture retailers are busy clearing showroom space. That means big markdowns on floor models, discontinued styles, and overstock pieces. If you’re furnishing or redecorating your home, now is an excellent time to score quality furniture at clearance prices before the new collections roll in.

Planning to freshen up a room? The first week of July is a great time to buy paint, with many home improvement stores and big-box retailers offering special savings. It’s an easy and affordable way to give your home a whole new look without stretching your budget.

Get fit without stretching your budget! July is a great month to score savings on gym memberships, home fitness equipment, workout apparel, accessories, and even supplements. With fitness brands competing for your business, you’ll often find special promotions and limited-time deals that can help you reach your goals for less. If you’re joining a gym, consider choosing a month-to-month membership instead of signing a long-term contract. That way, you’ll have the flexibility to switch if a better offer comes along or if your fitness needs change.

Dress for less this July! As the temperatures rise, the prices on men’s suits, sports jackets, and other dress apparel often fall. With fewer people shopping for formal wear during the Summer months, retailers are eager to clear their racks, making this a great time to pick up quality pieces at substantial savings. You’ll also find excellent markdowns on Summer clothing, swimsuits, and warm-weather fashions. Don’t wait too long there are still plenty of sunny days left to enjoy them! Department stores are making room for their incoming fall collections, so now is the perfect opportunity to stock up at clearance prices.

Game on for July savings! July is a winning month for bargains on sporting goods and outdoor recreation gear. Retailers are making room for incoming fall merchandise, so you’ll often find impressive discounts on camping equipment, bicycles, outdoor games, balls, fitness gear, and other summer favorites. If you’re getting ready for Fall sports, keep an eye out for early markdowns on football equipment and athletic gear, too. Whether you’re heading to the campground, the beach, the ball field, or your own backyard, now’s the perfect time to score big savings before the season changes.

Expect party goods and supplies to be lower priced after July fourth. Stock up on plates, plastic cups, napkins, as well as patriotic-themed items like banners and flags. Again, don’t forget these can be used for Labor Day too or saved for next year. Solid colors can be used all year long.

Need a new tool? July could be your lucky month! Check your favorite home improvement and hardware stores for leftover Father’s Day tool deals. Many retailers continue marking down unsold gift items after the holiday, so you may find the perfect power tool, hand tool, or workshop accessory at a bargain price. It’s a great opportunity to add to your toolbox without paying full price.

The next FREE Kids Activity Kit day at most Home Depot Stores is on July 4.  These in-store events take place on the first Saturday of each month from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon.

National Ice Cream Day falls on July 19 this year so many confection parlors will get in the spirit with different FREEBIE promotions.

You will start to see back-to-school supplies hitting the shelves. Our schools have been out just a few days, so we don’t return until September, but other states go back earlier so the deals are on! Stock up on pencils, crayons, folders, and notebooks this month. Supermarkets will have very good prices on these, so grab them when on sale. Don’t dilly dally or you’ll be sorry!

Also, in your favorite supermarket, July is National Ice Cream Month! A whole month!! There’s no excuse needed to enjoy ice cream, but savings sweetens the deal! Other specials you’ll find will be on, of course, hamburger meat, hot dogs, buns, ketchup, mustard, BBQ sauce, relish, and salad dressing. Combine your coupons, if you are lucky enough to find them, with sales on soda, bottled water, chips, and charcoal. In the produce department fresh corn, tomatoes, and watermelon, pears, beans, blueberries, cucumbers, eggplant, figs, garlic, grapes, nectarines, onions, oranges, peaches, peppers, plums, potatoes, and squash will be on sale.

Soak up the lazy, hazy days of summer ahead, stay safe, and make every sunny moment count!
