Tip of the Day: Straw Hat Fraying?

It’s time to bring out your Summer straw hat, but uh oh, it is fraying! Here’s what to do: spray hairspray over the outside of the hat. Dry completely before wearing. This works for straw bags and purses too because the hairspray leave a thin, hard coating of polymers that seal the uneven fraying patches.
