Tip of the Day: Accidentally Spilled a Drink on Your Keyboard?
Unfortunately, spills happen! On a keyboard, act fast to unplug it, then turn upside down. Let the liquid drain out. Pat dry with a towel. Now, wipe the surface with a clean, lightly dampened in rubbing alcohol, cotton cloth. The alcohol will quickly displace any lingering moisture and also dissolve any sticky residue. Clean between the keys by using a Q-tip dampened in more rubbing alcohol by moving back and forth between any cracks. Use fresh Q-tips as needed. Lastly, leave the keyboard upside down on a towel to dry overnight.
