Tip of the Day: Stop Slugs from Invading Your Garden

If you are bothered by slugs you know they can be destructive to your garden. This is the time of year they breed due to rain and warm temperatures. To gather and rid them, place a hollowed out grapefruit half upside down in your garden overnight. In the morning you can scoop up the rind and discard. If a grapefruit is not available, an inverted cabbage leaf or damp sheet of newspaper will do the trick!
