Silica Gel Packets, you know, those little rectangular pillows that are packed inside of shoe boxes, handbags, and more. Toss them in your drawers, storage containers, jewelry boxes, leather goods, tool boxes, etc. to protect from humid conditions because they contain a natural desiccant. They’re basically tiny moisture magnets. Toss a few on your dashboard to help reduce interior moisture. Once they’ve absorbed moisture, you can dry them out and reuse them. Pop them in a low oven (around 200–250°F) for a couple hours and they’re good as new. Keep them away from kids and pets since they’re not meant to be opened or eaten.
