If your dishwasher is smelling funky, try squeezing the juice of 1 lemon and 1 orange in the liquid detergent compartment. Run the dishwasher empty setting it to steam dry. The citric acid in the fruit will neutralize odors caused by food particle buildup. The steam cycle will leave your appliance smelling sweet!
